AT ALGORITHM & BLUES we create interactive multimedia applications for business and entertainment. (For a summary of our approach read our Notes on the Process.)

One thing we do NOT create is mindless violence. We believe there's quite enough of that in the world already.

One of our principals developed the prototypes for two services provided in America Online's ExpressNet from American Express:
Account Status allows the Cardmember enrolled in ExpressNet to access up-to-date data about her American Express Card accounts, including complete details on billed and unbilled charges. She can even download bills to financial software packages.

ExpressReservations currently offers on-line flight reservations and soon, enrollees will be able to make all travel arrangements, including hotel reservations and car rentals.

We have contributed design and/or production work to the following Web sites: Elle and George magazines on the Web, Scholastic Network, World Education Services, and working at Siegel & Gale, the Weather Channel, the S.D. Warren Patina contest, IBM Anti-Virus, Kodak Professional, Oppenheimer Funds, AT&T, Diva Films' "Motorcycle Diaries" and others.

'Get Shockwave!   ALGORITHM & BLUES is pleased to announce that we are now creating Shockwave presentations for our clients. Shockwave (based on the powerful Macromedia Director authoring tool) allows for a greater degree of interactivity to your Web pages. (Please note: Shockwave requires a special "plug-in", please take this opportunity to download it now).

In addition to our more prosaic pursuits, ALGORITHM & BLUES is proud of a few projects we've done just for fun.

Spheres of Influence is an entertainment quite unlike most computer games. Deceptively subtle, it contains no violence, no space aliens, no cyber-babes, no clock, no scoreboard, no Arthurian mythos. Yet almost everyone finds it addictive. We think you'll enjoy it too.

...and going beyond keyboard, monitor and mouse...

Talking Hands is an input device that introduces grace into the human/machine interface.

Through the Looking Glass is an intelligent environment for multiple-users, currently under development.
