Dan Gibson

Dan has been playing keyboards since 1964. He studied classical piano with Vincent Marlotti, and electronic music with Randall McLellan. He graduated with a B. S. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and received his Ph. D. from The Johns Hopkins University. He has composed music for modern dance and performed with many rock bands since then. Dan currently studies Guinean dance and djimbe drumming with Ladji Camara, and has studied Ghanaian drumming with Abraham Adzinya and Robert Levin. He is also the band leader and keyboardist for the Rush tribute, Power Windows.

Dan is not, however, the author of "Solitudes:Exploring Nature With Music- Forest Piano". So if you're looking for nature sounds, keep looking!
