Heh...that percentage definitely held at the Waterfront Blues Festival today in Portland, that's for sure! Either that or the horrendous combo bra strap/camisole look, which gives you bizarro tan lines and just looks plain stupid.

thank you for bringing up the bra strap thing, betsy. it drives me insane. why on earth would you want your underclothing to show, for crying out loud? but let's also discuss, um, those wearing skimpy camisoles who have no business appearing in skimpy anything. those camisoles are simply not meant for people like us.

We saw some winning fashion combinations this afternoon at the festival - my boyfriend was seriously skeeved out by a few ("I'm not looking that way...let me know when it's safe to look that way..."). The fashion award winner? The woman in the black spandex tube top three sizes too small with the roll of stomach hanging over her hip hugger shorts...

And on the other hand, I saw a perfectly-cantilevered and well-fitting bra on a lady the other day, which only goes to show how many people are NOT wearing the right fit, if the one person who was stood out so much.
