Ruby Rodriguez worked as Satina, the snake enchantress in Coney Island from 1986-1989 and set the standard for all of our subsequent snake charmers. Prior to Coney Island Ruby worked as a hairdresser in the South Bronx, she can occasionally be spotted as a solo street entertainer at Battery Park where tourists buy tickets for the Statue of Liberty. Ruby was featured in Bruce Springsteen£s "Tunnel of Love" Rock Video.
