Day of the Triffids Trees in the Fall
October 1st, 2008 Posted in UncategorizedI’ve posted before about the Ginkgo trees in my neighborhood that I love and that look like something out of Day of the Triffids. I took a couple of shots coming home just now, from pizza pickup-age.
Pretty, and slightly haunting, no?

Day of the Triffids? To borrow a line from one of the Oriental proprietors of the convenience store I pass each night (occasionally dropping in): “You so clazy!”

I have a Ginkgo in my front yard and I love how in the fall every leaf turns amazing perfect yellow… and then poof! One day they all fall into a big yellow blanket around the trunk.

You don’t think they look like they could get up and walk??
