More New TV Commentary

belly2.jpg First, a gratuitous cat belly shot. This is Finney resting on the couch, after trying to pull the keys off my laptop, scratch the screen, tear up my papers, eat the isight camera, kill Buddy, kill my shoes, bite my face, knock over the vase on my desk, con me into feeding him breakfast twice and finally pushing the ibook off the desk when I got up to get him a toy. Ah yes, you must be all tuckered out. Rest little devil, rest.

Onto new TV.

Kidnapped. Is that the name? It’s okay. It has the actor who played Fearless in Boomtown, and I love that guy, but he got shot early on and I’m not sure if he’ll be back. I don’t think I’ll watch it again. Oh, the son was good, too.

Shark. James Woods is so full of himself and he’s good, but this is very ordinary, otherwise. Not a thing new. I don’t think I’ll keep watching.

Six Degrees. I don’t even know why I watched it, but this premiere is the best premiere I’ve watched this season, totally out of the blue. I really liked it. It had something. Did anyone else watch this?

Heroes. I”m going to give this a try tonight.

PS: To everyone who mentioned Veronica Mars. I tried! I totally expected to love it and didn”t (except I did come to love the father). I don’t get it. All my friends love it. Joss Whedon loves it. It’s almost like some flaw of mine has been revealed. My failure to appreciate it proves that there is something lacking in me.

  1. ok, just wanted to let you know I am totally in love with you, too bad I’m a straight married woman, or else I’d come to New York and sweep you off your feet. I am in the middle of reading WFMCTD, and I just adore you. Seriously, so I decided to check online and see if echo still exsisted, It DOES, and there’s this awesome blog that you write which hardly gets commented, a tragedy if you ask me. I wish that I lived in New York so that I could meet you, slowly ingrain myself into your life and become one of your best friends (I couldn’t possibly compete with the ones that have been around for you forever). Anyway, just know that you have a HUGE (not in size but in intensity) fan and friend that lives in Indiana. I really like you, ok don’t worry I’m not a stalker. So the main reason that I’m commenting, is I completely identify with the sitting around my house and watching way too much tv by myself, my hubby being gone most of the time cause he is an airline pilot(btw, I have 3 cats who are wonderful). Speaking of TV, I wanted to ask you what you thought of Heroes? So, what do you think? Personally I like it, but it kinda freaked me out at the same time. I also REALLY love Grey’s Anatomy, am extremely addicted, like I have dreams about the characters. Anyway, I’m rambling and this is turning into a letter rather than a comment. Suffice it to say, your awesome! and I will continue to comment on your blog, but not so long next time! 🙂

  2. Ha! Hi Cindi. I liked the premiere of Heroes so I’m going to watch again tonight and see where it goes. (Loved the asian kid the best. How could you not adore him??)
