Bring it, Mosquitos

Here it is, this is the mosquito net I ordered! Doesn’t look too bad. I’m still concerned about how the cats are going to be able to curl up with me. Now that I think about it. I need to pull this back even more when I’m not using it. Bleeck loves to race along the top of the couch; it’s his most used shortcut to me, Finney, mice and food, and he will definitely rip it at some point during a run.

  1. I wonder if your building has a mosquito problem because of some pooled, stagnant water somewhere, that occurs every spring and therefore hatches mosquitoes every year? It could be anywhere in the building of course, and somewhere fairly undetectable, but I would start looking on the roof and in such places that are accessible.

  2. What would I do if I found it though? A friend suggested pouring bleach on the roof, but I worry about the birds and other creatures that probably drink from whatever pools of water might form.
