Thank You, Alabama!

You’ve given me and many others hope! When I fell asleep last night Moore had the slimmest of leads, and I felt horrible. If we had elected yet another racist (and pedophile) I would have been absolutely destroyed this morning. But no! Alabama came to the rescue. THANK YOU!!

If you click on the image you’ll see a large picture of Bailey, Bodhi and Bali when they first arrived at the ASPCA’s Kitten Nursery. Sadly, Bailey did not make it. He was half the size of the hand holding him, poor little thing. I never even met him. He died before I came back from my day off. I wonder what he would have been like.

I learned how to bottle feed with Bodhi and Bali. Every once in a while I ask them, “I bottle fed you, when you were little babies, do you remember?” Adopting them for putting up with my fumblings was the least I could do.

  1. I am so happy about the election!! I was a Jones/democrat supporter from the first, but scared to death about Moore (pedo, nasty theocratic). For once, Alabama stepped into the FUTURE. Have a big grin on my face today. Just hope democrats can learn from this election, and apply it to nationwide races in 2018.

  2. We can thank the African Americans who came out and voted in mass. They were 30% of the vote and 95% of them voted for Mr. Jones. (Perhaps that slavery comment?) At least those percentages were reported on MSNBC. Frankly, I’m still trying to get over the president’s nasty tweet about Senator Gillibrand. …… I love the picture of the adorable little ones, Stacy. They were so tiny that it’s quite a miracle any survived. Bailey just had too much to overcome I’m sure.

  3. YES, thank you especially to the black community of Alabama.

And yes, Bodhi and Bali are little miracles. We had a lot of them this year.

Hi Cara! Thank you for contributing to Jones’s win, and my renewed sense of hope!
