Trying to Remain Calm

February 27th, 2009 Posted in Uncategorized

I’m feeling a little stressed out.  The pub date for my book is March 10th and I’m doing everything I can think of.  What is today?  (I never know.)  February 27th.

What else could I have done with my life?  Not that it’s a bad life, in fact it’s mostly great, but I do find that I am regularly put in the position of having to do things I’m not good at.  Or, is that everyone’s life?  We all feel like that?  I want so badly for this book to do well.  But we all want things, and as that saying goes … damn you Rolling Stones!!

I took this picture the last time I was down at the WTC.  They were putting up these posters all around the perimeter of the site.

When you say you’re “doing everything I can think of” before the publishing date of your book, what do you mean? I’m just curious as to what YOU have to do and what the PUBLISHER has to do when Unbelievable comes out with respect to the marketing of the book. There are lots of radio programs on the CBC here in Canada with listeners who I could imagine would find an interview with you about your book fascinating. (Contact me if you need any recommendations!) Best of luck!!
And about your photo… how do you feel about the redevelopment of the WTC site?

Hang in there! We definitely all feel that way. Definitely.

Be confident. If you’re not confident in you, why should anyone else be? Create a mantra, keep saying it and seeing what it is that you want — and continuing to do all you can in the background.

At least you’ve written bookS (that’s plural, by the way). I’ve given myself until 50 to write one. If it’s not done by then, it ain’t hap’nin.

I wish they were building the towers back exactly as they were before.

You will do fine Stacy. Look how well that crazy TV show is doing. The one time I watched some of it this guy drops his flashlite,it starts blinking so he thinks he’s got a hit. I nearly fell out of my chair laughing. Your book is based on actual scientific experiments. Stuff like that Right? Maybe you’ll get a movie deal. You never know.
I was thinking (rare occaison)you know the SETI program…Arecibo..the VLA in Socoro? What if EVERYBODY is listening? Bummer
