Not only was the dress a huge hit yesterday at school for the Monster Mash (she put on a monster mask and went as the very authoritarian 'princess of all the monsters', although we could not find a pink mask, alas.)
This child also has no self esteem issues. She proceeded to twirl around the hall on her way back to class after the performance, stopping every single person to exclaim: "Look at me! Look at my princess dress! Isn't it beautiful?" In short, she was a sparkly, twirly pink princess over the moon when I left mid-day to head back to work. I think I win the 'best mom' award, no?
