More Deli Than Dada
(in homage to Carl Soloman and Wallace Markfield)
We, we sing.
We don't examine.

In another incarnation
Franz Kafka
lives on the internet
Ok, rather, finds himself
caught like an insect--
a prisoner of the internet.

Poem:
I'll do anything
it takes to get into the
Norton Anthology!

Caught in a piece of time
a fossil in amber
a good luck charm dangling at the throat
of a terrible Goddess

Would it be a strain
to devote one line
to the sudden demise
of Princess Di?

What a shame!

There is no past.

There is nothing to disbelieve in.

All one needs is a justifying theme
