At once lyrical and intense, Amos Badertscher's photography of the male nude is garnering increasing attention and acclaim. Through his lens one sees a world largely made up of hustlers, drag queens, and runaways; it is an experience that is simultaneously forbidding and alluring. This collection of erotic images in utterly compelling and showcases what many believe to be among the finest in photography today.


Amos Badertscher, a self-taught photographer, has had his work showcased in both solo and group shows. His work is the subject of a forthcoming monograph from Duke University Press. He lives in Baltimore, Maryland.

Girls' Night Out

For nearly a decade, Chloe Atkins has been a part of the San Francisco lesbian nightlife. She has regularly photographed the women in attendance at several area nightclubs and lesbian events. Girls' Night Out , the result of her work, is a portrait of women at play--a sexy, often whimsical, occasionally sensual, and completely joyful look at nightlife lesbians in all their diversity.


Chloe Atkins's work has appeared in numerous magazines, newspapers, and books. She lives and works in San Francisco.
