holiday swag
'Tis the season...for teacher gifts. Here's what I've gotten, from various Brownies and Sunday school students:
- one lovely 6" square ceramic snowman plate with festive red border;
- one holiday-themed photo album with snowman on the cover;
- one 6" square hanging slate panel with a snowman on it (note the find something seasonal but don't give the Jew anything red and green theme developing?);
- one candle in a terra cotta pot, handmade by a 6 year old;
- one funky cookbook with an "artist" theme to it -- Van Gogh's favorite pasta and such;
- a dozen handmade chocolate lollipops;
- one block cube of note paper with SHALOM on the side;
- one box of Ferrero Rocher chocolates;
- one small menorah shaped Chanukah dish, which conveniently matches the platter I bought this year and will be good for the applesauce on future occasions; and
- one sweet little bookmark made of ribbon and glass beads, which is good, because Andrew just lectured me the other night for dog-earing my library books.
Oh, yeah, I'm in it for the booty.
