LBJ, Articulating Paper Doll (© 1997 Joe Rosen)

Description:
LBJ, Articulating Paper Doll is a new kind of Electromics ‹tm› interactive cartoon.
You do not interact with President Johnson by conventional pointing and clicking. Instead you follow the instructions below to build your own real life paper doll.
(Note that unlike other Electromics ‹tm› no Java is required to interact with President Johnson.)

Instructions:

(1) Go to http://www.electromics.com/lbj/lbj.gif (138K).
(2) Print lbj.gif to paper in color.
(3) Go to http://www.electromics.com/lbj/www.gif (26K).
(4) Print www.gif to the opposite side of paper in black & white.
(5) Carefully cut along dotted lines.
(6) Assemble using paper fasteners** as joints.
(7) Hang by head or shoulder fastener(s) with string.

(box top image) **Paper fasteners are usually available wherever office supplies are sold. Sizes approximately 1/2" long are recommended for assembling the LBJ, Articulating Paper Doll.

Special Notes:

Five LBJs were constructed and then hung at various locations in San Francisco. Photos were taken at each site to document the event. A special Location Map (a Java applet containing those photos and indicating each location within the city where an LBJ was hung) is available at http://www.electromics.com/lbj/loc_map.html.

When building your own LBJ it may be helpful to see the scanned images of the ready-made printed, cut out and assembled LBJs available for viewing at (front view) http://www.electromics.com/lbj/lbj_asm.jpg (88K) and (back view) http://www.electromics.com/lbj/lbj_asm_bk.jpg (121K).
